Humorous Ways to Get Rid of Annoying Sales Calls

I don’t know of anyone who enjoys receiving calls from telemarketers. They always seem to call when you’re having dinner with your family or right in the middle of your favorite television program. Normally they are pushy and selling a product you don’t even want.

Well instead of just hanging up or trying to say no, why not try something new? Have a little fun and annoy them by giving them a taste of their own medicine. Below are some humorous ways to get rid of those pesky telemarketers.

Leave Them Hanging – When you get the real aggressive sales person that won’t take no for answer, just concede to their offer then tell them you have to go get your credit card. Put the phone down and go about your life and see how long they hold on for you to come back.

Interrogation – Just start asking them question after question about anything. Ask them about the company they work for, their hobbies, just keep asking away until they get so tired of you they hang up.

Mimic Them – Remember how fun it was as a child to repeat everything your sibling said. Well recapture some of those funny childhood moments and repeat everything the sales person says. They are sure to get frustrated and hang up on you.

Can’t Speak English – Don’t just pretend you don’t know English, take it a step further for a few giggles. Pretend you know a language and just start speaking gibberish all while you’re pretending to be interested.
